In Change of Habit, Elvis Presley plays Dr. John Carpenter, who serves the residents of a slum. Three women, who are secretly nuns, come to help him with his work at the medical clinic. The doctor and one of the nuns (played by Mary Tyler Moore) fall in love, leading her to become conflicted between her devotion to her vows and her love for the doctor.
